Tomorrow night my family is hosting a number of teenagers at our home for a comedy movie as well as pizza night. I’m a little bit hesitant about the gathering however only because I’m not sure how to set the temperature on the control unit in our basement home theater. Teenager girls always seem to constantly be cold, but teenage boys will constantly seem to be hot. So I have no idea what to do. It’s that time of year when you might use the furnace as well as the a/c all in the same day, too. And of course that doesn’t help with my dilemma. I am just starting to make the pizzas for the gathering right now, and so the temperature in the kitchen is especially warm. I’m wondering if tomorrow the oven will make it too warm. The last thing I want to have happen is for teenagers to suppose like they need to start taking layers of clothing off, if you get my thinking here! I have to be the responsible adult, after all. So it’s my job to make sure that the control unit is set at the best possible temperature. I’m thinking that I will probably set it at around 69 degrees, then after all, they will have lots of body heat in the space where they will be set up to watch their movies. Then, if the teenagers start complaining about the a/c, I’ll just supply them all blankets or throws to keep warm. I can’t imagine the youngsters thinking that the heating will be set too high, however hopefully almost everyone will be comfortable as well as comedy movie night with pizza will be a huge success, and now I just have to finish making all of these pizzas!
