Every year as the wintertime first starts to warm into Springtime, all of us take our cats to the veterinarian for their one annual checkup plus booster shots. Normally they only get weighed, checked out plus the vet gives them their medicines and shots plus we’re out of there in no time. This year was a little different, however. That day, we had just had a late season snowstorm that dumped about several feet of snow, so outdoors the temperatures were well below what they should have been. Because of this and all the recent snow there were so several people in the waiting room for the same reason. What was normally a several minute wait turned into a thirty minute wait, and then a 50 minutes wait. With it still being chilly outside, they had the furnace running inside on full blast. It got to be so warm in there with all the other people plus pets that all of us decided to go ahead and take the cats on a shot walk outside. Our Labrador enjoy the snow, so all of us let that silly dude off the leash to go run through it in the fenced in section outside. After kneeling for so long in the lobby with the furnace on what seemed care about full blast, it was incredibly nice to walk around in the crisp chilly air. After about twenty minutes or maybe thirty all of us went back inside plus check on our progress with the wait. As it turns out, actually, our timing was perfect. Almost as soon as all of us came back inside, they immediately called us back to the exam room. We got both cats checked out by the vet, vaccinated plus given their dog treats, plus all of us were on our way.
