I’ve been in client service for various years of my life. I worked for Kmart, before they went bankrupt. After that, I worked at a crappy Walmart for multiple years. I’ve dealt with our share of unruly clients, sugar high youngsters, plus exhausting supervisors. I thought things would be different, when I started more recently working for an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business. My best neighbor needed someone professional to cook the books at work, plus I was the first person on his mind, however he was already operating as co-owner of a stressed Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C maintenance business. Over the entire past year, their sales have doubled. They previously had someone now working on the finance books, but that person went to jail for fraud. My neighbor also found out that the old, seasoned bookkeeper was stealing from the business. When I started, I quickly found multiple unusual discrepancies between the sales plus the deposits.The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company installed more than 3 current Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C units over the summer. The previous bookkeeper charged the local university board on 3 separate occasions somehow. I was shocked to find so various billing errors. It was too much to be a total coincident, so I mentioned the invoices to our best friend. After going through many multiple weeks of seasoned invoices, the two of us found 7 more Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C billing errors. It’s a pretty wonderful thing the bookkeeper is in jail, because our boss would have filed charges. I’m sincerely surprised that none of our clients have noticed the billing errors. Some of the large extra bills added up to thousands of dollars in Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C repairs.
