I got a hotel room recently on trip that was in a unquestionably nice area; All of the official accommodations were entirely nice; The bed was large plus comfortable.
The view from the balcony was entirely nice.
The bathroom was pristine plus overpricedly supplied! I had plenty of towels, a fantastic brand of coffee for the morning plus a few other things that I unquestionably appreciated… But of course I would have traded all of that nice stuff for a functional a/c! It was hot in my room. I kind of ignored this until I got settled, plus then my buddy and I checked the temperature control. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why my room was not getting cooler. I could not know that hotel staff would overlook something as integral to a customer’s comfort as a functional temperature control and/or air conditioner! I decided to go right back down to the lobby to get help with my a/c. They sent someone up to check on it because they said that they’re unquestionably shouldn’t have been any troubles with it. I begged to differ! Well it turns out that I was ultimately being rather insane. The person they sent up with me to maintenance the a/c concern took a look at the temperature control for a minute… He then pushed a single button plus air started surging through the vents shortly after that! Of course, all I could ask is what he did, plus he simply replied that he turned the temperature control from “fan” to “cool”. I could only embarrassingly ask him why it was not set to cool in the first locale plus he apologized plus said that the previous renter must have left it on the fan setting plus the hotel staff overlooked it.
