It had been a rough week at university, then my sinuses had started acting up and the constant sneezing from the flu symptoms was not helping… The students and staff alike had noticed that the quality of air had decreased significantly.
The high uneven temperatures of Spring during the afternoon were causing our comfort.
The headteacher gave us a free class after receiving confirmation from the cooling system repairman that he was coming. The university maintenance department headed by Mr. Kulwik had contacted the a/c company for multiple days consecutively. The a/c company had an influx of calls, it was cooling system service season, and finding an available a/c professional was close to impossible! Every one of us finally had an appointment booked and this week the servicemen would be going to see the university to check the central cooling system. Though other students left, I chose to stay as I was finishing up on some homework and our parents would not be lake house till late so I opted to stay in university; and first, they asked about the cooling system setup as they wanted to assume when the a/c install had been done, after collecting this information, they proceeded with the cooling system care. This involved checking on units such as weather conditions control. The digital temperature control was all dusty and needed to be vacuumed to keep the dust away from sensitive components… Part of the cooling system service was to update the a/c filter to ensure that the cooling system functioned optimally, but I was resting close to the servicemen for close to multiple minutes observing them entirely working. I got to learn a lot about these HVAC units and how they job and how to maintain them.
