I wanted to repair the gas furnace system myself when it tore up last week; I think I was thinking that I was much smarter than I really am.
I’m not all that smart, if I’m really being honest about it.
I don’t know how to fix several things around the house! At least I’m a good cook, though, so my wife doesn’t think that I’m completely worthless around the house, and whenever I can’t get something fixed and we have to call an electrician, a plumber, or an Heating and Air Conditioning professional, I always make sure that I cook up a delicious dinner for her! She never complains about it, but it makes me feel bad whenever I can’t fix things around the house. For some reason, it makes me feel like I’m less than a man. I know that my wife’s dad used to fix everything around the home back when she was growing up and I think that she thinks about that, but she never mentions it! She’s too polite for that, I guess. When the gas furnace tore up last week, I tried very hard to service it myself and it was the worst idea that I have ever had. I messed around with the gas furnace for a while, and then I didn’t do a single thing except make the problem even worse than it was before, then before I knew it, there were flames shooting out of the gas furnace! I nearly burned down my entire home because I was too proud to call an Heating and Air Conditioning company to have them service the gas furnace the right way.
