For a long time I just thought I had an inferior Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C device, and it was frustrating that on super overheated days the cooling system would just run plus run… The house felt humid plus toasty.
When I started fighting mold in the corners plus bugs in the living room, I called the local Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C dealership. I was prepared to supply them a piece of my mind. I wanted them to take back their horrible air conditioner. Well after the inspection the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech informed me it wasn’t the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C unit, but my HVAC duct, apparently my HVAC duct has a lot of bends plus turns in them. That means more seams than usual. A seam with HVAC ducts can pop quite easily. I had a popped seam which meant all the chilly air my cooling system was producing was leaking out of the house, but so the A/C would run plus run, but overheated air would leak inside. Thankfully the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C dealership knew a HVAC duct sealing company that could do it quite cheaply. They came in immediately with what looked like an airsoft gun. They shot sealant particles plus air into my HVAC duct. Then the particles expand plus form like a patch over the seam, and using a camera inserted into the HVAC duct, the HVAC duct sealing guys were able to determine if they did the job right. I can tell you that they did; My cooling system truly works wonders now. My energy costs are super low too. It has absolutely been a game changer since getting HVAC duct sealing. I won’t let it go that far again.
