I spent more than five years in the army plus I didn’t guess what I wanted to do when I came home.
I had a lot of different skills that I acquired in the Army.
One of those skills was heating plus cooling system repair. When I came lake house from the military, our Mom made a few iphone calls. One of the calls was to his best friend. The guy owns a commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business. My Mom set me up with an interview plus I met with the owner of the commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation a couple of afternoons later. I truthfully didn’t even need an interview. The guy was ready to hire me as soon as I walked through the doors. He knew our Mom for 30 years plus he would have absolutely hired me just because our Mom wanted. It was nice to have our Mom on our side. I could have spent weeks looking for a job, but I found a place to work a month after I left the military base. I’m still toiling at the same commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation plus it has been almost a year. I absolutely prefer the work. I don’t mind fixing heat pump plus cooling system troubles, plus I appreciate toiling by myself all day. I don’t have anyone seeing over me throughout the day plus I don’t have to worry about making mistakes. It’s nice to have a job that makes me guess an large amount of pride. I guess this career was the right choice for someone with our particular skill set.
