This HVAC supplier lady walks her dog each day, a dog which has a gimp left front paw from an accident it had at 8 months old.

• She said when it was a puppy it got some kind of wire wrapped around its paw and it severed the tendon so the paw was rendered useless.

The poor dog can still kind of run but the paw is twisted to the point the dog is using the front of the paw on the ground to run. It is all calloused up and works well for the dog. The dog never whines though, and the local business which tried to help him years ago said the dog doesn’t seem to care that it can’t run very fast. It just wants to play like all the other dogs and doesn’t fret about not being able to keep up with other dogs. My heating and cooling rep had a dog with a similar thing and said that his dog didn’t care about it either. It kind of taught me a lesson to not worry about the “bad” things and to just brush them off as you would anything else that is really minor in life. I’ve had many occasions where my HVAC system broke down, both in my car and in my home, and I have learned to just sweat it out or shiver it out without judging how it makes you feel. The non judging part isn’t always easy, but if you can learn to do it you will see that even the “bad” things are not so bad. We played music last night outside the old church and made $16 in tips without even expecting a dime. I went home after that and my bandmate went and played some more in front of this local business. He said some guy came by and gave him $60, half of which would have gone to me if I went with him but I was just too tired. I’m happy he got the money at least, and next time I’ll be sure to tag along and see if we make more at that spot. The heating and cooling job I work at pays me decently, but it is only a part time job so I need other ways to make some cash. Playing music is a great way because it is basically practicing and having fun while getting paid. The HVAC equipment repairs I do basically covers my rent and some utilities, then the other three small streams of income I have covers food and spending money. I hope to have a chunk of money in cryptos also in about eight more months. Between the savings I have and my work for the HVAC company I am pretty good with my monthly bills. I am also looking for a roommate soon so that would totally seal the deal for me and my financial issues. I would not have to worry about buying a new HEPA filter or getting my HVAC system tuned up when the time comes. I know it all works out fine so I am just enjoying the ride as much as I can.

I think I have now been doing yoga each day for about twelve years in a room that is heated up pretty hot.

My body is so much more flexible now that I can stand straight legged and fold over placing my head on my shins.

When I began I couldn’t even touch my toes, and I am amazed that I have held the conviction so long day in and day out. I got my momma doing yoga too and she has now been doing it for about seven years each day. She had back problems working for the heating supplier so she had to leave the job. Not long after that I got her on daily yoga and her back pain was soon gone. The local business where she was going for lower back therapy also helped her with the work they did on her. I haven’t had any lower back pain in about 15 years now and I feel a lot more energetic too. I was lifting a lot of heavy HVAC equipment with my job and was always suffering from a sore lower back. I also got the same problem from beach volleyball, but now I haven’t had a problem with it in over a decade. The heating technician who works with me also started doing it after suffering back aches from doing a lot of ductwork cleaning and repairs. Now he said he never has a problem with it and attributes all of the success with his back pain to yoga. It makes HVAC repairs a lot easier having a good back.

I’m pushing myself a bit more today and am going to reward myself soon with an hour nap meditation session in my comfy dark and cold bedroom.

I like the room cold like this because I like to hide under four or five blankets and feel like I am a baby in a womb again.

The local business sells weighted blankets but they cost so much that it is easier just to pile a bunch of blankets on top of you and call it a night. I don’t run any climate control systems at night and like it really cold in my room so that I can feel like a bear hibernating in a cave under a pile of leaves or something. Part of me really likes winter as it gets cold early in the evening and you have a lot of sleeping time. I also like that I don’t have to run my air conditioning too much as it costs me a lot of money to do so during the summertime. I run the heating in the winter just a tiny bit and my power bills for the winter are always a lot lower than they are in the summer. My body just runs really hot so I like it a bit cooler in my flat. Today was really cold out and there was no sun so I had to turn on my central heating unit for about 15 minutes to take the chill out of the air. This house really holds the heat as it is still warm some five hours later.

Well, we also have the best cooling technology money can buy, but it is winter so I am not trying to think cold thoughts. Today was really cold when I woke up and went for a ride on my bike. I was kind of dreading the cold sea plunge I took because I knew the water would be really cold this morning. But, the sun was shining and the natural climate control system of the sun kept me nice and warm while I sat in the cold sea. I think the sun is good at radiative heating and when it is out it warms your body just from it shining on you. It is truly amazing that an object which is 93 million miles away, the sun, can heat up objects to the point where they could fry an egg. We learned about that in this HVAC technology course we all took as it involved a lot of thermodynamic subjects. The sun uses radiative heating, just like a radiant heater would do in a home, to warm anything that is near it and visible. The sun doesn’t warm the other side of the planet because the rays don’t hit anything and just go on into the black space that surrounds the globe. The sun even has a warming and heating effect on the seas, taking them from cold to warm with the changing seasons. I have an old oil heater but I think I may change it for a radiant heater soon because I think they would warm me up faster after my cold sea dips.
