I’m taking another day off before starting work at my mom’s house. I just recently painted the whole outside of my sibling’s new home and want to rest my body one more day before starting mom’s painting. It’s tiring! I am here on holiday for another several weeks and I would like to earn a little bit of money while staying here to cover the cost of my expensive trip. I had to rent a car so that set me back about $2800. I think that maybe I should just buy a car next time I come here and it would be cheaper! I have a new little car that has a freezing air conditioner, and if I buy a car I would like to get something similar that gets nice gas mileage like this one always does. I’ve had older cars before too, and they consistently seem to have concerns in the Summer with their air conditioning systems. They would work for a while when I first got the car, of course. But then they would slowly start tearing up and the freezing air would disappear. I know some people just charge the cooling system of the car before they sell it and then when you’ve had it for a little while all of the coolant leaks out! Then you’re stuck with a hot car and no air conditioning! There are all kinds of tricks that people do to cars to keep them running longer just before they sell it to someone. The best trick is putting some sawdust in the transmission! I had an air conditioning system go on one of my cars the day right after I purchased it. The guy who sold it to me paid for the repair.

I think I’m taking another afternoon of rest before beginning work at my mom’s house later this week.

I just painted the whole outside of my brother’s beach house and want to rest my body 1 more afternoon before starting mom’s painting job. I am going to be here on holiday for another 5 or 6 weeks and would prefer to earn a little currency while staying here so that I can cover the cost of the trip I had to make. I had to rent a car so that set myself and others back about $3000, which makes me feel like I should just buy a car next time I come here to visit. I mean, I have a new car and it has ice cold freezing a/c, and if I buy a car I would prefer to get something similar to that one that gets great gas mileage, too. I’ve had older cars before and they regularly seemed to have concerns in the summer time with their A/C systems. They would do the job for a while when I first got the car and then slowly the freezing air would disappear. I know some people just charge the cooling method of the car right before they sell it and then when you’ve had it for a little while all of the coolant leaks out! Then you’re just left sitting in a boiling hot car wondering what went wrong with it! There’s all kinds of tricks people do to cars to keep them running a bit longer just before they sell them. I have a modern car and it has ice cold a/c, and if I buy a car I would need to get something similar that gets good gas mileage the way that this one does. We have a new Heating & A/C idea in our house here, including a smart control unit.

We are really loving it.

All of our energy bills have been split in half since getting this new unit installed three years ago. We are now thinking about replacing our current smart control unit with a Wi-Fi smart control unit. That way, we can control it from our phones while out on the road. Sometimes we want to be able to switch the temperature in the house before one of us gets back home. We like doing it from the car just so that the temperature in the house is nice and comfortable when both of us arrive. The energy usage from the Heating & A/C idea is so low that it doesn’t matter if both of us keep the house super cold or super warm with all of the drastic temperatures that we get here in this part of the state. I used to pay up to $500 a month to cool or heat our house when both of us had the outdated unit, but now with the new Heating & A/C system, the monthly power bills are more in the $140 range. I guess I just didn’t realize how much more efficient the units had become until talking to an HVAC expert about them before having one installed in our house. It took them about more than a full week to install the unit because we also had brand new HVAC ductwork plus a new air handler, which had to be custom fit. It had to be able to go in the room where the older HVAC system was. They had to do lots of extra construction in the house. But now we are happy with it and we take really good care of it. An Heating & A/C company comes to service it regularly.
