Rest is important when you are sick

A couple of months ago, I had the flu and I was very sick.

I missed 2 days of work when I had a fever, but I couldn’t afford to stay home all week.

As soon as my fever was gone, I went back to work at the heating and AC repair business. My boss tried to make things easy for me, so I didn’t have to work too hard while I was sick. The guy gave me a couple of heat pump tune ups and repair calls. I didn’t have to work on a single HVAC installation job while I was sick. I was thankful that my boss took it easy on me while I was under the weather. Rest is really important when you are sick. I sleep a lot when I don’t feel well. Each day that I was sick, I slept at least 12 hours. Even on the days when I went to work at the heating and AC repair business, I still managed to get a lot of rest. When I was finished working, I went home and ate a good hot meal with protein, vegetables, and whole grains. After dinner, I laid down on the couch with a blanket. I didn’t go out with my friends or run any errands. While I was sick, I was either at work or at home on the couch relaxing. It took almost a week before I started to feel better. As soon as I was feeling better, my boss put me back to work on a full schedule with repairs and installation jobs.
