When someone tells me my friend and I need to talk, I knew there is a problem. Whenever my mom or Mom told me my friend and I had to talk, I was trying to figure out what I did wrong. When my ex-spouse said my friend and I had to talk, my friend and I ended up divorced, however now, the Heating and A/C supplier was telling me my friend and I had to talk. He was supposed to be servicing the air conditioning unit, plus I could not figure out what could be so wrong that my friend and I needed to talk. He said he had found something wrong, however it was a minor repair. He didn’t want to repair the air conditioning equipment before my friend and I talked about it. I took a deep breath, plus he laughed. He told me he knew what the ‘we need to talk’ statement meant. He had been on the receiving end of that several times; especially with his parents. We both laughed. He asked me if it was okay that he goes back to the Heating and A/C supplier plus gets the part. He said he would be back in an hour plus he would then service the a/c. I asked how much it was going to cost, plus he frowned. He looked at the paperwork plus asked if I didn’t have a maintenance plus repair agreement. When I nodded yeah, he smiled. He told me that with the maintenance plus repair agreement, it wouldn’t cost me a penny. As long as the repair was found while he was there to do maintenance, the repair was free, for the first time in forever, the ‘we had to talk’ statement wasn’t a bad thing.
