When someone tells me my friend and I need to talk, I knew there is a problem. Whenever my mom or dad told me my friend and I had to talk, I was trying to figure out what I did wrong. When my ex-hubby said my friend and I had to talk, my friend and I ended up divorced, and now, the HVAC business was telling me my friend and I had to talk. He was supposed to be servicing the a/c unit, plus I could not figure out what could be so wrong that my friend and I needed to talk. He said he had found something wrong, however it was a minor repair. He didn’t want to repair the a/c component before my friend and I talked about it. I took a deep breath, plus he laughed. He told me he knew what the ‘we need to talk’ statement meant. He had been on the receiving end of that many times; especially with his parents. My friend and I both laughed. He asked me if it was okay that he goes back to the HVAC business plus gets the part. He said he would be back in an hour plus he would then maintenance the a/c unit. I asked how much it was going to cost, plus he frowned. He looked at the paperwork plus asked if I didn’t have a maintenance plus repair agreement. When I nodded yes, he smiled. He told me that with the maintenance plus repair agreement, it wouldn’t cost me a penny. As long as the repair was found while he was there to do maintenance, the repair was free! For the first time in forever, the ‘we had to talk’ statement wasn’t a terrible thing.
