They will come to replace the furnace in a few days

Last year at our church, the boiler stopped working because of some water complications that we ended up having in the church basement.

We had a leak that happened with the tepid water tank down there and it ended up causing this huge issue with the heating unit.

We couldn’t believe what a mess the basement of the church was in when we went in there to check it out last week. It was terrible. The worst part about the whole thing was the fact that it ruined all of the carpet and that, in turn, ruined the boiler. The boiler down there in the church basement wasn’t even all that old, either. We had just had it installed by the commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C company some few years ago, and so losing that was a large pain, too. We got in touch with the insurance company and they let us know that they are going to be covering the cost of a current boiler for the building, so at least that was good news. They won’t cover the cost of the carpet which wasn’t cool. There’s something in the contract about how they will only cover disfigurements to concrete and stone floors, but not wood floors or carpet. We don’t know why in the world that would be an issue, but it’s right there in black and white so we are not going to argue about it. Anyway, we have to contact our commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C company and they are supposed to be coming to replace the boiler sometime before the end of the week. It’s a fantastic thing too, because we are supposed to have another Spring chilly snap in a few days.
