After using the same regular air filters time again I decided that I was ready to try something different.
I think I was going to give washable air filters to try and before even considering trying washable air filters I had been using the typical disposable air filters.
But the reason I wanted to use washable air filters was not only to save money but also to use an air filter that was of higher quality. There was no denying that the washable air filters were of a far superior quality than the disposable air filters. Normally I’m going to pick up these air filters from the local heating and AC business but I didn’t have to do that, they actually had them at my local supermarket and I was able to pick up the washable air filters there. These were the last much longer than my disposable ones ever did and I didn’t waste any time putting them to use. Once it was time for the air filter to be replaced I simply went into the vacuum cleaner and sucked up all the dirt on the air filter and cleaned it really well, once it was nice and clean again it was time to go back in the HVAC system. The same air filter was now filtering my air as if it was a brand new air filter and I was excited to see that it was working so well for me and I hadn’t decided for that moment that I was going to only better watch what air filters from that day forward.
