I went to our best friend’s for Thanksgiving this year, then mom was sick, and she didn’t want herself and others to get the flu since I was pregnant. Then I was ready to go to the airport when dad called and told myself and others it wasn’t safe to come to the condo this year. I understood when he said they both had the flu, although I was sure I could help them out, then he said to take care of his grand baby and he would see us for Christmas. I went to dinner with our best buddy for Thanksgiving; she also loved about more than three hours from me. I couldn’t realize the difference in the uneven temperatures from our home to hers. I walked into the house, and she had the a/c component on. I didn’t know I was using a/c on Thanksgiving day. I had to turn the a/c on in the vehicle to get rid of the humidity. It was raining when I arrived, and it still felt hot and humid. My best buddy said this was normal for this area, and I was delighted they hadn’t stationed our fiance on this Army base. I liked it where it was cooler! A little cooler air over the holidays is constantly better. All of us didn’t have snow and ice like they did where our parents lived, but all of us sometimes had snow flurries over the holidays… But in the afternoon; it was back up in the sixties. When I got to her house, all of us had a great day, although I couldn’t wait to get back home. It was dark and breezy when I pulled up into the driveway. I saw snowflakes coming down, and I was delighted I had our heating system to keep myself and others hot and to be back home.
