When someone tells me we need to talk, I knew there is a problem.
Whenever my mom or dad told me we had to talk, I was trying to figure out what I did wrong.
When my ex-hubby said we had to talk, we ended up divorced, then now, the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist was telling me we had to talk. He was supposed to be servicing the a/c unit, plus I could not figure out what could be so wrong that we needed to talk. He said he had found something wrong, however it was a minor repair. He didn’t want to repair the a/c machine before we talked about it. I took a deep breath, plus he laughed. He told me he knew what the ‘we need to talk’ statement meant. He had been on the receiving end of that numerous times; especially with his parents. We both laughed. He asked me if it was okay that he goes back to the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company plus gets the part. He said he would be back in an hour plus he would then repair the a/c. I asked how much it was going to cost, plus he frowned. He looked at the paperwork plus asked if I didn’t have a maintenance plus repair agreement. When I nodded yes, he smiled. He told me that with the maintenance plus repair agreement, it wouldn’t cost me a penny. As long as the repair was found while he was there to do maintenance, the repair was free. For the first time in forever, the ‘we had to talk’ statement wasn’t a bad thing.
