I woke up to a cold cabin and had to make do with our space heater.
I got ready and headed to work.
Honestly, I was not able to shower that day because the gas gas furnace would not start so I was unable to heat bathing water. I put in a call to the heating corp and busy a gas furnace/heater tune-up for the next day since I was off work. I had to postpone our errands for that day to the afternoon so I could accommodate the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repairman. The issue with the system was about hygiene. I had not known that I could wipe the washable filter, uninstall it then put it back on. The servicemans illustrated the entire straight-forward process. They also checked on the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C ducts and were surprised at the state of the air duct. They were filthy. The duct cleaning process eliminated bags of gunk and dirt. This process greatly improved the air quality within the house. The quality of the whole beach cabin heating was top-notch now because of all the repairs done. It was as it was when the boiler installation was done. I wanted a modern unit for our first floor because I found that it would get colder than the rest of the house. The heating provider suggested a gas fireplace which I had fitted in the master home office. The fact that this fireplace did not need vents made it better. This modern system would take care of the uneven temperature, especially for the first floor. They also shared some important energy-saving help tips. After transforming our indoor comfort, the servicemans packed up and even gave me a ride to town in their specialized beach cabin repair truck. The truck was packed with special component including upgraded Wi-Fi control units.
