We bought this house about 4 months ago and I am beginning to think it was haunted.
- The first time I thought there might be a ghost in the house was when I was home alone in the morning doing some work in the kitchen.
I knew I was home alone and yet I heard the bedroom door close. I was frightened but I made myself go upstairs and check it out. Sure enough, our master bedroom door had shut all by itself. When that happened again a few days later, this time with our son’s room, I got really freaked out. My husband said it was just the changes in air pressure caused by the air conditioner. That is what causes the doors to close on their own. That is easy for him to say. He is not the one who works from home alone when these random things are happening. I have decided to just leave the doors to the bedrooms closed when I am home alone from now on. I don’t care if it is just the air conditioner, doors closing on their own really freaks me out. Since I have started doing that I haven’t heard the doors open or close by themselves anymore. I was beginning to think it really was just the air conditioner but yesterday I heard what sounded like someone walking up in the attic. I was too scared to go up and check. Again, my husband said it is just the air conditioner. He said we need to get the ductwork sealed because he has heard it making noise in the attic too. I’m sorry but that is not reassuring. I think all of this activity is more than just our air conditioner.
