I am so bad at waiting for things! I totally have that mindset of “I want it now.” I know that it is not a wonderful mindset, but our culture has absolutely made it possible to get things instantly. I find that everyone have trouble waiting for things nowadays, and something that I recently had to wait for was my new air conditioner. It was so terrible. I ended up having to wait about two weeks for it. I was told that it would only take about a week to arrive in the mail, but there was a supposed delay, and it did not end up coming for another whole week, then my husband can tell you just how impatient I was when it came to waiting for that air conditioner, and looking back, it was sort of ridiculous. I whined about it almost every single afternoon… Of course, my associate and I did not have air conditioner for two weeks, and it was super hot outside. Our house got up to eighty-five degrees at one point, so it makes sense to be a little unhappy about the wait, however I absolutely did take it too far. I called the contractor about ten times asking why it was so late, the bad people that I talked to could not do anything about it. They just listened patiently as I rambled on about how aggravated I was. I absolutely wish that I could go back and apologized to each individual that I talked to. I finally got my air conditioner in the mail last month, and I am super blissful. I do regret complaining, but it unquestionably was miserable not having air conditioner for those two weeks.
