That’s where my pal and I are now.

With the access to constant contact and information these afternoons, my list of things to do is never ending. I can simply remember a time when I first started working inside the commercial heating, ventilation, and A/C of the office where finishing up the afternoon meant just that. I would complete the jobs that I had designated to be done for the labor afternoon before I went dwelling to my own A/C. That’s not the case now. I’m pretty much in a constant state of triage when it comes to getting things done at work. There is never an afternoon when I can walk away from the office without anything waiting for me the next afternoon. But that’s pretty much the way everything goes in this age. Even at home, I’m consistently trying to keep up with the stuff that has to get done. When it comes to the heating and cooling unit though, I’ve finally hit on something that is making my life a lot easier at least in the heating, ventilation, and A/C regard. I have definitely struggled to even get the air filter for the heating, ventilation, and A/C unit changed on time. So when it came to making appointments for heating, ventilation, and A/C repair, I was not wonderful at all. Too often, I would remember after the fact and either miss the appointment or forget to call. By joining the heating, ventilation, and A/C repair plan, I’m now finding that I don’t have to worry about the heating and cooling unit at all. The heating, ventilation, and A/C company takes care of all of it, from setting the appointments to accessing the heating, ventilation, and A/C unit, they have it all under control.

Wow.

When I was told that I’d have my labor cut out for me with this regional office, they weren’t kidding.

But the sheer opportunity to lead a regional office was too exciting for me to say anything however yes. I had been busy working inside the zone controlled heating, ventilation, and A/C of the corporate headquarters for a few years at that point. While I was cheerful to have made it to corporate, I was also ready for an extreme leadership role. Well, I got one and it’s a handful. But thanks to a wonderful local heating, ventilation, and A/C corporation, I have at least solved the commercial heating, ventilation, and A/C troubles that have plagued this building for far too long. Basically, I walked into a powder keg when it came to morale. Not only was morale low, there was an extreme hostility vibe as well. I don’t believe I’ve ever been in a labor environment that was that disadvantage. But each journey begins with a single step. So I spent my entire first week doing nothing else actually, however listening and gathering information and perspectives. It was clear that this bunch of neighbors felt completely adrift and alone in the corporation. I tried to explain that this wasn’t their fault however the fault of a series of ineffective management. And I was stuck here to change that. Another first on that list of priorities was easy comfort in the workplace. There was literally one temperature control for a one story building holding more than a hundred neighbors. The second week I was here, I sent all the people dwelling for a four afternoon weekend while the commercial heating, ventilation, and A/C was replaced, and everyone returned to zone controlled heating, ventilation, and A/C with several separate temperature controls and independent heating and cooling zones.

Home comfort business

So truthfully, I believe I had sort of made my peace with the idea that I might not ever be a homeowner.

• I was in my mid forties and single.

While I had been working in the same job for almost 2 decades, it wasn’t the sort of thing that was going to make me rich. So I was still living with heating, ventilation, and an A/C unit that wasn’t so good. But its loud noise helped muffle the sound of my noisy neighbors. I wasn’t bitter however, just sort of accepted that while I’d keep saving for that downpayment, it might just not ever happen for me. That’s when everything changed in the time it took me to open a registered letter. My wonderful aunt had left me everything she owned when she died. I couldn’t guess it. Sure, I was the closest relative to her and my pal and I enjoyed spending time together. But I never thought she’d leave this all to me. We spent a couple of afternoons a month together. And I would also basket her around when it was time to simply get groceries and do errands. But I did this stuff because I appreciated her and she was so much fun to be around. Suddenly, thanks to her kindness, I was the owner of a three bedroom home. All I had to do was to replace the residential heating, ventilation, and A/C and I had a turnkey situation as a homeowner. My wonderful aunt also left me all her savings as well which was way more than enough to have the heating, ventilation, and A/C professionals put in the best heating, ventilation, and A/C technology out there. I’m just so incredibly fortunate to be a homeowner and to be here in this apartment with the best quality heating and air I’ve ever experienced.

I just really wish that there were months and months of this sort of weather, unfortunately, the only months and months of the same sort of weather that my pal and I see is the winter time variety.

I live so far north that my pal and I have to have both a wood stove and gas heater for heating purposes. It doesn’t take both of them working at the same time to give the heating that my pal and I need. But the wood stove heating helps take the sting out of the heating bills from the gas heater! You need heating in the evening here along about mid or even early November. And the gas heater has only not come on for heating in the evening over just the last 3 weeks or so. We’re right in that sweet spot where it’s such appealing weather outside. Unlike our neighbors to the far south, my pal and I are still enjoying Spring and all the rebirth that’s going on. I have also basically put the gas heater to bed until the heating, ventilation, and A/C professionals come out in late September to do the heating repair; However, it’s also time for the heating, ventilation, and A/C contractor to come out and do the A/C tune up before too long. In fact, I just simply removed the protective shell I put over the heating, ventilation, and A/C unit outside that keeps the weight of the snow and ice off of it. We really don’t get a big demand for A/C here. But the older I get the more I actually like having A/C during the peak heating hours of the afternoon while I’m busy inside.

When my partner first broached the subject of her parents retiring near us, she did so in an entirely too smart way, and not only had my pal and I had an amazing afternoon together, she’d arranged for the kids to spend the evening with friends.

We had an appealing bottle of wine, cooked together and just talked out on the deck and out of the A/C.

It was extremely great. When she brought up the idea of the in-laws living right around the corner, I also believe she thought I was going to freak out maybe. But this conversation wasn’t exactly a huge surprise. I knew that her folks were sick of a winter time where they have to use a gas heater for heating, but dealing with the snow, ice, sub zero temperature and just the sheer length of that winter time was beating them down. When they came for Christmas, they consistently wanted to stay for weeks at a time. So I knew that this was something that my partner was struggling with, but my relationship with her parents is cordial although I was not their option for sure. That leaves me in a difficult spot much of the time. But it’s one thing being inside the central A/C of my dwelling for weeks at a time and living here. We talked that evening and I really did more listening than talking. My partner had found a place that they could afford. All my pal and I had to do was replace the heating, ventilation, and A/C equipment. I have an acquaintance who is an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C professional so that was no problem. In fact, when the in-laws did buy the house, the heating, ventilation, and A/C company did us such a solid with bargain basement pricing on the residential heating, ventilation, and A/C.
