I am so exhausting at waiting for things; I totally have that mindset of “I want it now.” I know that it is not a good mindset, but our culture has easily made it possible to get things right away.
I find that most people have trouble waiting for things nowadays, something that I recently had to wait for was my new a/c.
It was so terrible. I ended up having to wait about two weeks for it. I was told that it would only take about a week to arrive in the mail, but there was a supposed delay, as well as it did not end up coming for another whole week, but my spouse can tell you just how impatient I was when it came to waiting for that a/c, but looking back, it was sort of ridiculous. I whined about it almost every single morning; Of course, my associate and I did not have air conditioning for two weeks, as well as it was super tepid outside. Our condo got up to eighty-five degrees at one point, so it makes sense to be a little unhappy about the wait, even though I genuinely did take it too far. I called the contractor about ten times asking why it was so late, and the exhausting people that I talked to could not do anything about it. They just listened patiently as I rambled on about how concerned I was. I genuinely wish that I could go back as well as apologized to each individual that I talked to. I finally got my a/c in the mail last year, as well as I am super glad. I do regret complaining, but it genuinely was miserable not having air conditioning for those two weeks.
