My long-time friend and I liked sampling new cafes and reviewing their food and service. When a certain coffee shop opened up in our neighborhood, my friend and I made plans to have breakfast there. We had just come from the gym and decided to get breakfast. It was a hot morning, and we yearned to be cooled down by an air conditioner. We had been running audits on the company which took so much of our time. I would spend almost twelve hours in the office each day. It was a good thing this only happened one week once a year. When I got to my house, I was welcomed by hot stale air. I headed to the basement to check on the air conditioner but it was off.
