I have been living here the last 20 years or so because I relocated for a job promotion.

While the job promotion has been nice for 2 decades now, the climate, the air quality and the temperatures have not. It seems as if it is one hundred and twenty degrees a good majority of the year! I am always having to run the air conditioning on my central heat and a/c unit. This makes my electric bills super high every single month of the year nearly. The only time I even get a break from having to run the central air conditioning all of the time is between the months of December and March. Come April until the following December, it is air conditioning needed all of the time! The heat is so bad that even a portable air conditioning system would not be able to do its job. I so I can not even use portable HVAC equipment to save money on my monthly electric bills like others do in the country. Not to mention, this place is depressing in general. Who in the world wants to look at rock and gravel outside your house? I miss grass and plant life! Also, the air quality is so horrible, I experience serious allergies that I never had in my whole life. I was never an allergy person before this. I am glad I have a whole home air purification system in addition to my top quality central heating and air conditioning unit.

Dealing with job lay offs can be pretty troublesome. Especially when you are in a single career like I am. I work in the heating and air conditioning business as a certified heat and a/c specialist. And recently I was laid off from the heating and cooling company that I had worked for for a long time so far. 7 years is pretty long. So I had to really search hard to find a new heating and air conditioning company that was looking to hire experienced heat and a/c specialists like myself. After 2 months of hard searching I finally landed a new job! This new heating and air conditioning company that work for is really great and so far I really enjoy working here. Finding a good heat and a/c company to work for is not easy in itself. But I happened to luck out finding this heating and air conditioning company and even more lucky because they actually hired me for the job to be one of their certified heat and a/c specialists. I have been here about a month now and I actually have to say that I am more happy here than the other heat and a/c company that I worked for going on 7 years! These people pay a lot more and also they offer benefits that the other heating and air conditioning company I used to work for did not. I hope to be with this heating and air conditioning company for a long time if they do not experience any lay offs.

You can save money by having less heating and cooling in your home by way of getting into portable heat and a/c equipment. What I mean is buying both a portable space heater as well as a portable air conditioning system to reduce the amount of hours that your central heating and air conditioning system runs within the course of the day during super extreme weather in the winter and summer months. You can alternate between the 2 and then by doing this, less energy will be used and you can save money on your monthly electric bills. For instance just as an example, you can run the portable space heater and portable air conditioning systems in the day time, and then at night you can turn on the thermostat and have your central heating or your central air conditioning running while you sleep. Only running the central heating and air conditioning system 7 or 8 hours a night will save you a ton of money verse having the central heating and air conditioning system running twenty four hours per day and seven days per week. Central heat and a/c can be tricky like that. But when running a portable space heater or portable air conditioning system, you do not have to use that much energy to do so. Which will make heating and cooling your home a lot cheaper by using less energy!

I just graduated from HVAC school and have been working for a heating and air conditioning company about 3 months now. And next week I am going to have a huge job to do as part of my main work week that I never have experienced. I am so glad there are going to be other heating and air conditioning workers on the job with me to help guide and assist in doing the work. I am going to be part of a big job laying ductwork into a newly built house! The construction people just finished building it, and the next step is to get things set up for the heating and air conditioning system. Laying ductwork is the first step of this. It is going to be an all week job for full work days. Laying ductwork for a brand new home that has yet to get a central heating and air conditioning system is not going to be an easy task. It is almost going to be like I am working in construction. Not something I signed up for or that I really want to do. But it is part of the job and the pay is going to be great. I will be getting paid a little more per hour than I was doing the regular heating and air conditioning system repair and installation jobs that I am used to doing working at the heat and a/c company that I work at. I just hope I know what I am doing!

He’s really dependable and smart about things like this so I know that he’s going to go really far in life

My brother Sam has been working as an HVAC technician for the past few years now, and he has decided that he’s going to start working for himself now instead of for someone else. He mentioned that he is going to start up a commercial HVAC company instead of a residential one because he feels like we need that more in our area than another residential HVAC business. I guess he has a point, because there aren’t any commercial HVAC companies here in town that specialize in commercial HVAC systems as of right now. We do have quite a large amount of restaurants, retail stores, and other commercial businesses around here though. I guess it would make sense for us to have a commercial HVAC company here to service those types of businesses. As it is right now, all of the businesses end up having to use the residential HVAC companies for their businesses. I don’t know that much about it, but I’m sure that it would be better for them to have a commercial HVAC company instead. I guess that’s what my brother Sam is hoping to supply. I think that he will end up doing really well at running his own business. He’s really dependable and smart about things like this so I know that he’s going to go really far in life. I’m excited for him and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to help him get started with the new commercial HVAC company. I don’t have anything going on right now so I may just become an investor.
