Now that I am working from my home office, I see my lake house in a whole new perspective.
I was typically away from my lake house between the hours of 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, so I wasn’t aware of what was happening during that time, however nothing exciting was happening, but there were noises plus rhythms of the town that I’d never observed before I was forced to task from home, one of the largest things that I was able to notice was my Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system plus how it was operating.
Although my Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system was running efficiently plus my lake house was being heated and cooled, I had a strong feeling that the air quality in my lake house was questionable! The more time I spent inside, the more I observed the tiny particles of dust floating around in the air! After more time had passed, I was so convinced that the air quality was bad that I honestly started believing that it was contaminated somehow. This eventually led me to stop and call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C dealer to get some professional recommendations. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer recommended that I have my air duct professionally cleaned and I was starting to use the HEPA certified air filters. Together, my air quality would improve significantly because these 2 things would trap the dust plus debri better. If I was looking to take things one step further, I could invest in a media air cleaner. A portable media air cleaner would remove extra dust and debris that my Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system wasn’t catching. I ended up taking the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C dealer’s advice plus implemented all 3. I’ve observed an extreme difference in air quality since.
