I used to live a tied up life back in the states with my local company & sizable sprawling beach house in the city.
I was always answering cellphone calls & working on the beach house & had no free time to relax & appreciate life. I finally decided that this lifestyle wasn’t for myself and others so I shut down my Heating & Air Conditioning company & got rid of all of my debts & then moved overseas. My life is much slower now & I have more time for unbelievable & just having fun. The older I get the more I realize that playing & having fun is the key to a good life. Yes, there are obligations & jobs to do but you should save time for doing fun things. I labor for a local company a few days a month doing furnace & AC repairs but then I spend the rest of the afternoon looking for fun things I like to do & fun people to hang out with. There is constantly someone out there who is looking to play sports or maybe play music with me. I do air conditioning installations during the month in the Summer & labor on furnaces & fireplaces in the Winter time for about 20 hours a week. I also teach some volleyball & yoga to clients & spend a lot of time studying & writing. My life is a lot uncommon than it was in the states when I spent most of my time working at my local business. I’ve l gained a lot over the years & have l gained that freedom is key to happiness.
