Last Summer they told myself and others I would need a new AC component before this Summer arrived.
I had the money in the bank and I called the Heating and A/C dealer. I asked them to send an Heating and A/C business to the condo so I could order an AC unit. When she got there, she asked what kind of Heating and A/C plan I was interested in? She wanted to assume if I wanted an air purification system, and if I had any family fluctuations happening. I told him all I wanted was a new air conditioner component to replace the a single that was going terrible last year. She asked about my HVAC duct and provided to do an inspection. Two years earlier, I had to have the furnace replaced. The HVAC duct was already twenty years old, and my partner and I decided it was time to have it replace. The two of us bought the new furnace and HVAC duct at the same time. This year, I wanted to replace the air conditioner unit, and nothing else. I told him I wanted him to do her job and figure what tonnage the AC component needed to be, and I would tell him what SEER I wanted. When the people I was with and I came to the care about opinions, I would pay him. She would then give and install the new AC unit. She did all of her calculations, but she had a single more question, which had myself and others miserable. She asked if I wanted a new thermostat.
