I have been at this for over 10 years & there’s been no work shortage so far
Being an independent heating & air conditioning specialist is the most awesome thing! Not only because I set my own rates & manage myself, however because I also can choose when to work, when to not & when to quit for the morning without having to worry about some slave driver boss telling me when I can breathe & when I can not. This brings me to the fact that I am regularly condo for supper when my fiance cooks it. I have supper every night with my family because I make it a point to quit at 5pm quarterly. If there is a heating & air conditioning repair task that comes in, I do not schedule it that morning if I don’t guess it would be done by 5pm. I assume exactly how to pace everything & I do make a good living at this. I am by no means rich, although I am steady & secure to live a normal life with my family the same as if I was some laboring stiff in an office. So I am cheerful with the career path that I chose for myself. I would never provide it up for the world unless 1 morning the business stopped rolling in & I had no option however to go slave it for less spend my money at some heating & air conditioning business, hopefully that will never happen though. I have been at this for over 10 years & there’s been no work shortage so far. But I guess you never do assume what could happen in the future. If that morning ever comes, I am prepared for it.
