Attempting to explain the a/c care plan to my nana

I had traveled to another state to visit my nana. My nana and I had a very good relationship. She had raised me for the first five years of my life when my parents were completing their education. My parents got me when they were still in school and when I was born, they both decided to first finish school. Nana and I had always been super close. I would call her a few times every week to tell her about my day. Nana listened to it all, the complaints, the plan, the excitement, and the tears. During summer break, I decided to go see her for a couple of days. I would also take this opportunity and help with her troublesome air conditioner. This unit should be on optimal function as it was still a fairly new air conditioning system. The air conditioner installation had been done two years ago by very qualified a/c workers from the local air conditioning company. When I examined the system, I established that the reason the air quality was poor was due to dirty filters. According to the air conditioning maintenance requirements filters are regularly changed to maintain proper indoor comfort. The air conditioning supplier managed to deliver a dozen high-quality filters. There were steps to replace the filters in the a/c care plan that nana had received from the a/c representative from the air conditioning business downtown. I explained to nana the requirements of the a/c service and the importance of running regular a/c care and a/c repair. I tried explaining each tip on the plan as simple as I could to Nana so she could be self-sufficient.
