I really wanted to repair the furnace system myself when it tore up last week, but I think I was thinking that I was much smarter than I really am.
- I’m not all that smart, if I’m certainly being super honest about it.
I don’t know how to fix multiple things around the house. At least I’m a wonderful cook, though, so my wife doesn’t think that I’m completely worthless around the house. Whenever I can’t get something fixed and we have to call an electrician, a plumber, or an Heating and Air Conditioning corporation, I always make sure that I cook up a delicious dinner for her! She never complains about it, however it makes me feel bad whenever I can’t fix things around the house. However, for some reason, it makes me feel like I’m less than a man. I think that my wife’s father used to fix everything around the house back when he was growing up and I think that she thinks about that, however she never mentions it! She’s too nice for that, I guess. When the oil furnace tore up last week, I tried entirely too hard to fix it myself and it was the worst idea that I have ever had. I messed around with the oil furnace for a while, and after we didn’t do a single thing except make the problem even worse than it was before; Then before I knew it, there were flames shooting out of the oil furnace! I nearly burned down our entire house because I was too proud to call an Heating and Air Conditioning supplier to have them fix the oil furnace the right way.
