From carpet to furniture, synthetic airborne contaminants get released into the indoor air. Add to that pet dander as well as pollen. That makes a lot of stuff attacking the respiratory system. So both of us now have HEPA filters in the lake house as well as they work great. I could tell the difference in the indoor air quality within just a few nights of having the HEPA filters in location.
