I had bought a smart thermostat from my local heat and a/c company earlier this year and the thing ended up breaking on me within a few weeks! I could not believe this because it was a brand new smart thermostat.
I called the heating and air conditioning company to tell them what had happened and protested that this must have been a faulty smart thermostat that they sold me.
They agreed after sending out a certified heating and air conditioning specialist to check out the smart thermostat to make sure I wasn’t the one who broke it. Which was completely understandable. Once they discovered that it was a faulty smart thermostat, they right away got me another one that worked great and even did the installation of the smart thermostat to my central heating and air conditioning system for free! That was mighty nice of them to take full responsibility for the mess up. A lot of other heating and air conditioning companies would not have been so nice about it and would have made me pay for the installation of the replacement smart thermostat even though it was their carelessness that sold me the bad smart thermostat in the first place. I have to say that this heating and air conditioning company in my local area is one of the best I have ever experienced in all of my life. And as long as they keep being this great, I will use them as long as I live here in the local area. There is no one better in my humble opinion.
