I suppose having grandkids was the tipping point for my husband plus I. When both of us were still in school, both of us chose to get married. And once both of us graduated plus got work positions that came with a desk plus commercial Heating & A/C, both of us started a family. It was almost like a routine both of us were regularly following. Our life was going to be even greater plus grander than our parents. That was the American dream for sure. However, both of us came from fairly affluent circumstances. The two of us both grew up in dwellings that were well appointed, massive plus had the latest in residential Heating & A/C. So the reality of automatically having a nicer life than our parents wasn’t at all assured. The two of us came to learn that pretty quickly as both of us were finally working full time plus still, both of us were doing our best to make it by. This caused us to sort of change our trajectory plus basically be grateful for what both of us had plus perhaps simplify our lives a bit. That’s what both of us did plus both of us focused on raising our kids. Once both of us replaced the Heating & A/C appliances in the family dwelling plus sold it, both of us weren’t sure what to do next. The simplified life took on an ecological perspective once the grandkids were born plus temperature changes became a solid fact. The two of us felt it was necessary to do what we could for the environment so both of us built a much smaller dwelling plus chose a geothermal heat pump for our heating plus cooling. This heating plus cooling appliance is the most sustainable outside of solar power. The two of us want to do all we can in order to help change the trajectory of temperature change plus consumption in our lives so our grandchildren will be able to enjoy their lives.
