I told dad that was a wise thing to do, plus she PCd an Heating plus A/C professional immediately after the people I was with and I hung up. Later, she called to say it was a refrigerant leak which the Heating plus A/C professional fixed before adding more charge to the unit. She was glad the unit was no longer making the hissing sound.
