I like working in the field and don’t mind doing it part time for some extra cash
There’s a lot of people who never had the chance to pursue their dreams because of other obligations and whatnot. My stepdad has a lot of regret for not sticking with teaching, which he loved and had passion for, but instead he became a lawyer and wishes he could turn back time and do it all over again with the teaching. That is sad to hear and I am using that as inspiration for me to further my musical journey. I moved to a small town and most of the local businesses are closed during the wintertime, except for a few grocery stores and a couple heating corps. It is boring here in the winter and I just feel like I am getting older and throwing my dreams down the drain. Even my HVAC company boss told me to go for the music thing and forget about the air quality systems repairs and everything else if I can make the music thing work. That is pretty hefty words to say considering he really likes my work at his company. He just doesn’t want to see me waste a talent and let it slip away for nothing. I”m going to keep doing space heater sales for him on the side even if I start making money with my music. I like working in the field and don’t mind doing it part time for some extra cash. That is, unless we hit it bigtime with our music and make millions of dollars. But for now, it’s back to work at the heating and cooling company in this tiny little quiet beach town.
