I had been feeling like something was wrong with my AC method for some time.
It started when the rooms in my apartment were all cooling to bizarre degrees. My primary bedroom was getting cool separate from issues, however my guest bedroom was hardly getting any airflow through the air vents. I tried increasing the settings on my thermostat, however nothing ever changed this. I hesitated to call the Heating plus A/C contractor because I didn’t suppose if I was overthinking things. As it turns out, I should have called the Heating plus A/C contractor much sooner though because something was terribly wrong. When an Heating plus A/C professional examined my Heating plus A/C system, she made a shocking discovery. My HVAC duct was in bad shape. There were gaping holes in many spots plus all the Heating plus A/C treated air was escaping before it could get through the air vents. Some areas of the HVAC duct were worse than others, which was why there was a temperature difference in the rooms. Normally, Heating plus A/C professionals would patch small holes, however these were too big plus too frequent. The Heating plus A/C professional told myself and others that the only solution was to replace the HVAC duct completely. Until then, I was basically throwing away currency every time I ran my air. It was an high-priced service that I did not method for however it was necessary. I’m blissful I found the holes in the HVAC duct when I did before things got too much worse, although I do wish I would have known sooner. If I knew when they were smaller, I could have prevented it from getting out of hand.
