Getting air conditioning for my beach house

Living on the coast, with sandy beaches within a ten-minute drive, is a dream for many. I was living the dream. I initially wanted a house along the beach, but the properties there are costly, and I also thought that constantly having sand on the floor was not very comforting. I eventually found a beautiful house a little further away. Most of the homes had ceiling fans as the only air conditioning system. They had no elaborate a/c setup, and it could get hot during summer. On the other hand, I was looking for a better air conditioning installation. Not high-tech cooling equipment like the one I had in the suburbs but still good enough to cool the house efficiently. The only thing I would not compromise on was a digital thermostat. The air conditioning expert I consulted suggested installing a ductless heat pump. After looking at the advantages of such cooling products, I called a cooling specialist to find out the installation cost. She gave me an estimate and then sent an a/c rep to my home so that he could calculate the house size to provide me with the accurate cost and determine the unit size. After we settled everything, they gave me a brief on air conditioning tune-up and why it was essential to be biannual instead of annual. It was not my first rodeo with that cooling technology, but they gave me the necessary insight. It was nice learning more about air conditioning. I would also be required to regularly replace the air conditioning filter, which I was already used to with my other place. They also gave me the air conditioning business card for when I would need air conditioning repair or other services in the future.
