Hard but doable

I took on the big task of converting a ductless mini split air conditioning system to a full on ductless mini split heating and air conditioning system.

The reason I decided to do this was because I wanted to save money.

Getting a ductless mini split air conditioning system on its own cost thousands. To have it converted by a heat and a/c specialist from the local heating and air conditioning company would be several hundred dollars, possibly close to another thousand. I just wasn’t having that! You don’t have to be a certified heating and air conditioning specialist to covert a ductless mini split a/c. It isn’t like repairing or installing a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. This is something that can be done with the right parts, the right tools and good instructions. I have to admit it was very very hard with me having no background in heating and cooling. But I was able to find out how to do it and I learned a lot along the way. If I had to do it again and covert another ductless mini split air conditioning system into a full on ductless mini split heating and air conditioning unit, I could do it a lot faster and easier next time. But it still will be a lot of work. I hope I never have to do it again. But if I do I am fully ready for it! At least now I have ductless heating and air conditioning in my home!
