My husband and I were blessed with an amazing deal on a brand new home about twenty-seven years ago.
It was perfect for us at that stage in our lives.
We had four children and three pets, so the large, five bedroom house was perfect for our family. Now, all of our children have moved out, and we only have two dogs. The house seems quite large and empty with just the two of us here and our dogs. My husband and I have talked about moving, but our only issue was that the house was the perfect size for when our children come and visit with their families. We love it when our children and grandchildren stay with us. Now, another problem has arisen that is keeping us from putting our house for sale and that is that our furnace is not working properly. We bought the highest quality furnace that we could find when we purchased our house, so we did not expect to have any issues with it though it is twenty-seven years old. It is not that the furnace does not work, but rather it does not always work well. Sometimes, it is cold in the house, and the furnace is not working well, so we have to go and reset it. Once it is reset it will work properly for some time. We have to reset it about twice a week. My husband has been looking into getting the furnace checked out by and HVAC technician, but we know it will be quite pricey, so that will be our last resort. My husband is going to try cleaning the entire furnace to see if that will help. Hopefully, it will eliminate the issue.
