I had been toying with the idea of getting radiant heated floors in my home for almost 2 years now.
I was not sure if I wanted to go that direction.
But after reading more and more about the great benefits of the radiant heated floors, I was finally convinced that it was for sure the way to go. I was pretty lucky that I did not need to have any major home renovations done to get radiant heated floors like some people do. If you do not have tile or wood floors you need to get them before you can get radiant heated floors. I did not even have carpeting that needed to be ripped up because I have throw rugs. So the installation of the radiant heated floors will be pretty straight forward and should be able to be completed within one day’s worth of work. In some cases, people have to leave their homes for a few days while all the construction takes place to install radiant heated floors into their home. So again I lucked out in that aspect. This is the time of the year to buy radiant heated floors as well because they are always cheaper in the hot summer time hot months of the year. I plan on moving forward with the purchase and installation of the radiant heated floors sometime in the next month. I just need to find the right heating and air conditioning company that has them for the right price and that isn’t going to charge me a fortune for the installation of the radiant heated floors. I will be looking around starting tomorrow.
