I got my parents a wonderful Christmas present this year; I think I’m not supposed to say it, but I think for sure that I am their favorite child now simply because of the wonderful present that I got them.
My siblings as well as I are always fighting about who is the favorite, but this time I think that it’s me for sure.
See, they have been complaining about their Heating and A/C plan for years now and they just never do anything about it. My siblings and I have all gotten entirely tired of hearing our dad, especially, complain about the faulty furnace and the wonderful air conditioning plan that they have at their house. It seems like every Wednesday when all of us go over there for dinner, either mom or dad are complaining about the heating and cooling plan in the house, yet they never want to spend money to have the Heating and A/C plan replaced. Sure, they always have talked about it, but they’ve never entirely done anything about it. A few days before Christmas, they were complaining about it again and that has when a light bulb went off in my head. I knew right then that getting them a new Heating and A/C plan for their house would absolutely secure me a top spot in the family hierarchy for all eternity! I sneakily asked my dad about the square footage of the house and the following day I went to the local heating and cooling business and ordered a new Heating and A/C plan for them. It’s being installed the week after Christmas and I cannot wait to see the looks on their faces when the Heating and A/C business drives up in the driveway with their new heating and cooling unit!
