I think that I enjoy a good deal more than anything else.
I’m not sure what that says about me, but that is just how I have always been. Even when I was younger and my grandma would take me to the park or to the fair, I’d try to get people to lower their prices whenever they were selling something. Grandma says that one of her number one memories of me when I was seven was when we were at the fair. I didn’t want to pay full price for a candy pear at one of the vendor booths and the lady ended up giving it to me for quarter price because I was so adorable back then. Anyway, I feel the same way about getting good deals today. However, it’s not about candy plums and things like that. I like to find good deals on things like my HVAC system. Four months ago, I had to buy a new heating and cooling system for my bungalow. There was no way that I wanted to pay full price for it, though. That’s when I shopped around and came across a location that had a floor sample that was going to be marked down. I went to this particular Heating, Ventilation and A/C Company and asked the owner about the floor sample Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit. I told him I’d take it that day and that I would pay money for it, and that got his attention.
