My hubby and I got married after I became an Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician 10 years ago.
He was having complications with his electric boiler at his house, and I just happened to be the Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician on call that day.
I showed up at his dwelling in the heating and cooling company’s van. When my hubby saw me get out of the truck, he knew I was the one for him. He wasn’t into love at first sight, but with me that is exactly what happened, and as they say, the rest is history. It was funny because I got his boiler back up and running in no time at all but then I ended up staying at his dwelling for hours that day. Of course, I did not bill him for all of the time that I was there. We just ended up having drinks and talking in his living room for a long time. We had so much in common and we decided that we were going to go out for dinner that weekend. It’s funny how something as ordinary as a broken boiler ends up changing the course of your life like that. If you had asked my partner years ago what kind of lady he was going to marry, then he would have said that he wanted to marry a teacher or a preacher or maybe a lawyer. However, he would never have said that he wanted to marry an Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician. That was just not ever something that was within the realm of option in his mind. However, he would never change it. We have been really happy together for years.
