I have picky kids, so we got delivery all the time

Both of my children are picky eaters.

They have always been very specific about the foods they like. My son will only eat chicken if it comes in the form of a nugget. He won’t eat macaroni and cheese unless it comes out of a box that he can visually see. My daughter is a vegetarian. She won’t eat anything that has to do with meat. She doesn’t eat eggs and she only drinks almond milk. She’s been a vegetarian since she was eight. I honestly thought she would grow out of the fat at some point, but she’s twenty now and her eating habits haven’t changed at all. My oldest son Jack also has the absolute worst allergies and can’t eat certain foods. When all of the kids were in high school, I had to order takeout and delivery from two different places when I didn’t want to cook. It was a huge pain in the butt to order online from two different restaurants, but there was no way my kids were going to eat the same thing. Now that the kids are grown up and live on their own, I don’t think they are quite as picky as they were when they were children. My daughter is still a vegetarian, but she has even more dietary restrictions. Both of the kids don’t like to cook, so they order delivery services from the various restaurants in the city. I know it was expensive for me to get the kids takeout when they were younger. I’m sure my children are spending a fortune to order food online and have it delivered to their apartment. I wish they would have learned how to cook.
