Eventually he started his own business, and this time, I decided to support him
Being the older brother in my family, I always gave my baby brother a hard time. I feel bad looking back on it all, but that’s the way it was. I would discourage my brother when he wanted to do anything in life. There was a time when he wanted to be a firefighter, but I told him he would probably burn to death or be suffocated in smoke. That turned him off to that career. He always got good grades too so it wasn’t like he didn’t have the ability to be successful in any field or industry. Towards the end of high school, he said he wanted to be an HVAC technician. Not only that, he eventually wanted to run his own HVAC business. I told him good luck with that because it’s a very competitive industry and most businesses don’t even last after one year. Well, he didn’t care what I said anymore and he worked hard towards his dreams. While I have been stuck working at the bank all these years, he has been doing his thing. He got a lot of experience and became a truly successful HVAC expert. He even helped me with my HVAC equipment on a few occasions and I realized he did better work than the previous HVAC company I was going through. Eventually he started his own business, and this time, I decided to support him. I was one of his first clients and had him and his crew install a new ductless multi split in my home, and they did an excellent job. I hope his business continues to grow and thrive.
