I don’t remember ever saying anything about wanting to be an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C serviceman when I grew up… Then when I was a kid, I used to admire my dad being an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C serviceman… I thought he was my hero, but I don’t remember ever once saying I wanted to do what he did.
I often said I wanted to prefer my dad, because he was an amazing dad plus I idolized him when I was little.
I didn’t want to be an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C serviceman; then as I got older, I told my parents I wanted to go into the service. I was trying to figure out if I wanted to go into the Navy or the Air Force… Mom would tease me that I could not get any more diverse with my choice, then the air plus the sea were quite different. When I graduated from middle school, my dad was going to pay for me to go to heating, ventilation plus A/C serviceman’s school. I tried to mention to him I didn’t want to be an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C serviceman, but he wasn’t listening. Two nights after graduation, I joined the Navy. When I finally started working, I didn’t intend on becoming an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C serviceman, but the job was open sourced. They were training me to work on the heating, ventilation plus A/C idea on the ships. Without respected ventilation, not a single one could survive below deck. It was a pressing job, plus a single that was hoisted on me, but five years later, I was back home plus ready to go to work. My dad smiled when I told him I had my heating, ventilation plus A/C certification; then he said he was glad I made the decision, but glad I made it in my own way.
