I scheduled an AC service appointment online

My aunt was traveling out of the country for some time.

She wanted to talk to me before she left.

Since I was home and not doing much, she wanted me to look after her house. She’d pay me to clean and look after it while she was gone. I agreed even without putting much thought into it. Not only was this a chance to live on my own for some time, but I also needed the money. The pandemic caused our company to close its doors, and I had been out of a job for quite some time. Plus, after living so many years on my own, moving in with my parents was a bit overwhelming. My aunt left me some work to do for her with extra pay, plus instructions on when to call the AC business. She had a standing maintenance agreement with the AC business. Since it was almost summer, they’d come by the house to service her AC unit. On the day of booking the AC service appointment, I could call them or book online. Since I was working on my laptop, I found it easier to contact them online. There was a pop-up chat option that I clicked on and began communicating with a customer care representative. We chose an appropriate time for the HVAC worker to come by the house and service the unit. That day, some friends were passing by to pick me up for a party, but they agreed to wait until the HVAC worker was done with the AC tune-up.
