It sounds so space aged; I’m working on my tablet with my wireless earbuds, while my robotic vacuum cleaner cleans and my smart control unit heats the flat.
- Call me old, but none of that stuff was around when I was a kid.
Maybe I can let you in on how my world was when I was many years old. The two of us had no HEPA filters, or smart control unit back then. In fact, all of us only had ceiling fans in my condo to keep us cool where all of us grew up. In the winters all of us had to make a fire in the fireplace to warm the house, all of us didn’t even have a control unit in the condo back then. I had to sweep the floors with a broom and dustpan and then mop the whole condo with a mop and bucket. Now I have this smart vacuum cleaner, with its built-in HEPA filter, to keep my condo nice and clean separate from me doing anything except emptying its dust compartment once a week. I still clean a lot of my clothes by hand because I wear such a limited amount of clothing in my flat. It makes it easy for me. My tepid water gas furnace only heats the water that I use because it is a tankless model, which saves me a lot of money in electricity each week. I have a truly easy diet too, eating mainly fruit and vegetables and rice. I have a gas stove which entirely uses almost nothing at all in gas to cook each week. It’s nice living simply like this and technology helps.
