The first time hosting guests in our new apartment took a turn when the electric heating system shut down. At first, I thought it was something I had done when I was increasing the temperature on the wireless temperature control, however after further investigation, I realized that I had done nothing that could cause that, but the next thing I did was inspect the gas furnace/heater replacement. I was not sure what I was looking for, despite the fact that I thought that if something were wrong, it would sit out. I stood there gazing at it, however nothing stood out, or rather I did not believe what to look out for. I ended up calling the heating dealership, and I was fortunate to be the last call they would be attending before they closed for the morning. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech was at our house at half-past 4 in the night. He asked me if I had a scheduled Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service plan, but when I told him I could not remember the last time I had furnace service, he said that could be the cause of all our furnace troubles. He proceeded to inspect the boiler and detected what the concern was. The house also had radiant floors, which he diagnosed. The whole heating service cost me a pretty penny because he also had to replace some parts, which would be done later on since he did not have them with him. When I told him that I replace the gas furnace filter twice a year, he told me that I had to increase the number to four, everything I l received that morning seemed to me that I was really green when it came to heat and A/C products and, in general, the heating industry.
