I wasn’t used to living in the desert, and needed more AC.

I was told that living in AZ meant the temperatures were warmer, but you didn’t mind it as much because it was a dry heat.

  • I’m not sure who came up with it, because I thought it was hot.

I knew it was over 100 degrees, and I was having a hard time with it. I wanted better air conditioning than what I currently had, and I wanted some humidity in the house. I was told I could have a humidifier separate from the air conditioning, but there were AC component with humidity installed right into it. I laughed, because it sounded love what our father called a swamp cooler. I called the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier and told them I needed a new AC component and I wanted 1 that put humidity into our home. I was tired of hair that flew in the air, and clothing that stuck to our skin, my skin was dry and sallow, and I needed humidity. The Heating & Air Conditioning supplier looked at the cooling system that was already in the house, and said they had the same model in stock. It didn’t take long for them to swap out the air conditioning units and get me some cool air. I hated going without air conditioning, even for a few mornings! Say what you will, but when the temperatures are over 100 degrees, it is tepid with or without humidity, and you need air conditioning if you are going to survive. I don’t love heat, but I liked our spouse and I didn’t want to live away from him. She worked in AZ now, and the people I was with and I had air conditioning to keep me comfortable.
